Online Venture Financing Platform

Description
Private companies looking to raise capital often experience frustration and waste an enormous amount of time when trying to identify relevant lead investors. To help private member companies target appropriate investors and expedite the fundraising process, BIO has partnered with IPEEX. The BIO-IPEEX program offers private biotechnology company members access to a state-of-the-art online venture financing platform which tracks the entire universe of active life sciences investors. This includes over 3,000 institutional investors, venture capital funds and hedge funds as well as in excess of 2,800 venture backed life science companies profiled by sector or sub-sector, technology and/or product focus, location, and size. IPEEX is the only tool that: (1) identifies and ranks all active lead investors based on their historic investment activities and their demonstrable investment appetite; (2) maps all co-investment relationships enabling CEOs to use their existing investors' relationships more effectively to secure meetings; (3) eases the thorough preparation of fundraising meetings; and (4) uses up-to-date intelligence on who to approach and why for the highly efficient creation of a syndicate.
